STEP 1: Pre-Inspection

Every great carpet cleaning experience starts with a proper pre-inspection.  Our service technician will inspect your particular areas of concern as well as noting carpet construction and soiling conditions.  He will also advise you of any possible permanent staining.

 

STEP 2: Commercial Pre-Vacuum

The carpet & fabric needs to be pre-vacuumed, to remove as much dry soil as possible before we begin cleaning.  Research shows that 78% of soil in a carpet is dry soil.  Skipping this step will turn the soil into mud making it impossible to remove.  Since we find that most people prefer to do this themselves, we offer this as an additional service.  It is, however, an essential step in the cleaning process and we will be happy to do this for you.

 

STEP 3: Property Protection

Your furniture will be protected from residual moisture by placing protective blocks and tabs.  We will use corner guards to protect your corners from being scratched by the cleaning hoses.  Also, the entrance door is kept closed to keep the outside air – out.

 

STEP 4: Furniture Moving

Sofas, chairs and tables will be carefully moved.  With our Wall to Wall service, we include up to 3 pieces per room/area.  We will be happy to move additional pieces, but it may be subjected to additional charges.  Items such as pianos, grandfather clocks, china/curio cabinets, large entertainment/computer centers will be left in place under our normal pricing structure. Furniture will be protected with disposable blocks and tabs.

 

STEP 5:  Cleaning Agent & Deodorizer Application

Specially formulated, organic, pre-conditioning agents and deodorizers applied. These work much the same as a laundry pre-soak. The cleaning agent lubricate and break down oily soils to assure optimum results.

NOTE: There is absolutely NO dirt attracting residue remaining to cause rapid resoiling & re-occuring spots.

 

STEP 6:  Stain Treatment

We carry over 10 specialty spotters.  If a spot can come out, we will get it out.

 

STEP 7:  Pile Lifting

Pile lifting utilizes a counter-rotating head machine.  After inspection, vacuuming, special spotting/stain treatments, application of cleaning agent, I pile lift the cleaning agents into the carpet and fabrics. This works similar to using a sponge/scrub pad on dirty dishes versus just spray and agitate with water. There is no pile distortion from this process, but puts the cleaning agent deep into the carpet and fabrics to clean deeper and more thoroughly.

 

STEP 8:  Extract & Rinse

Loosen suspended soils will be quickly flushed away out of your carpet and your home into our state-of-the-art cleaning machine.  The importance is on water flow vs. water pressure. Most truck mounted equipment only use 0.75-1.5 gallons/minute, then that water is injected deep into the carpet under high pressure. That pressure forces the water deep into the carpet pile. With our high flow cleaning system, it uses 3-4 gallons/minute OR 2-3 times more cleaning power than the most powerful truck mount. The water is distributed at least 1/10th of the pressure of truck mounted equipment.  The flushing of the carpet is so much superior and thorough. In conjunction with the use of the pile lifter, no fiber distortion or damage. With such thorough rinsing of the carpet and fabrics, your carpet and fabrics are residue free. They will feel soft – instead of crisp and crunchy. Everything will be left clean, bright, and spring fresh.

Dry times of appx. 2-8 hours is expected.

 

STEP 9:  Post-Cleaning Stain Treatment

If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are employed.  Note: Permanent stains identified by our service technician may not be removed.

 

STEP 10:  Speed Dry

While we are cleaning, we will employ additional extraction strokes to get maximum moisture removal.  When necessary, we will place 4 or more professional air movers for faster drying.  Unless almost completely dry upon leaving, 4 turbo air movers will be left in place for maximum dry times. We will pick them at the end of or at the beginning of business day. If you are an afternoon appointment, 4 turbo air movers will be left over night for maximum dry times.  All this at no extra charge to you! This is for your ultimate satisfaction as our client.

 

STEP 11:  Deep Extraction

With every hot water extraction is the use of water.  Drying times are always concerns, especially on humid days. A specialty machine, dedicated to deep extraction will be implemented onto the surface to extract maximum moisture leftover from the extract/rinse step.

 

STEP 12:  Post-Cleaning Inspection

  • Please walk through your home or business to inspect our work.

STEP 14:  Grooming

We will take the pile lifting machine and do a file brushing of the clean fibers to make is sparkle once again. This is especially important when ScotchGuard is applied. The pile brushing coats the fibers to the base of the carpet to achieve full coverage of the protection.
